- The UNC Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention runs No Kid Hungry N.C. with funding from Share Our Strength to help end child hunger and ensure kids get the food they need by increasing access to underutilized federal child nutrition programs for school breakfast, afterschool meals, and summer meals.
- With funding from Duke University, the UNC School of Medicine runs a free telephone consultation and education program called NC-PAL to help health care providers address the behavioral health needs of pediatric and perinatal patients.

Funding catalyzes continued growth for Criminal Justice Innovation Lab
The UNC School of Government’s Criminal Justice Innovation Lab has received $500,000 in new funding from the Charles Koch Foundation. To date, the Lab has received more than $1.6 million in funding from the Foundation.
