Award Negotiation occurs during the period between the submission of a proposal and the start of a funded project.
The Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) completes a review of each new Award before assigning a Project ID.
Most funded projects will require the Principal Investigator (PD/PI) and the University to provide status reports regularly during the life of the project.
All sponsored projects are subject to Federal, University and sponsor guidelines concerning the closing of active projects.
