Funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the UNC School of Nursing works to increase the number of trained sexual assault nurse examiners in rural areas.
With funding from Duke University, the UNC School of Medicine runs a free telephone consultation and education program called NC-PAL to help health care providers address the behavioral health needs of pediatric and perinatal patients.

UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy receives grant from the McKesson Foundation to help close diversity gap and improve health outcomes

The funding will support diversity and rural care programs at the school and throughout North Carolina.
