Research Electronic Data Capture, or REDCap, is a secure web application that can be used to build and manage online surveys and databases. It is specifically geared to support online and offline data capture for clinical research studies and operations.

REDCap@UNC support moving to UNC Help
On November 11, 2024, all REDCap support will move to the university’s central ticketing system, UNC Help (help.unc.edu). This move will improve REDCap performance and ticket management. You can access the ticket directly by searching “REDCap” on the UNC Help page or through “Submit a request” on the top right corner of the redcap.unc.edu Web page.

It will provide an introduction to REDCap, project creation, the REDCap interface, creating instruments, and getting support for a project. This training is designed for users who have little to no REDCap experience and will create a foundation for them to effectively create and manage their research projects in REDCap.
