OVCR launches AdvanTx for therapeutic-related projects

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR) announces the launch of the UNC Advanced Therapeutics Initiative (AdvanTx), a centralized resource to support development of therapeutic-related research and commercialization projects. The initiative aims to serve faculty by providing scientific guidance, coordination of university and external resources, and development of commercial strategies.

Investigators are encouraged to contribute their therapeutic targets or gene concepts, discoveries, or ongoing programs by completing a brief one-page questionnaire. If selected for support, the AdvanTx team — a pan-campus group of therapeutics and innovation translation experts — will work closely with the researcher to support advancement of the therapeutic project.
