Because of new security protocols recently put in place, eRA Commons user profiles were reset to comply with the NIH’s password policy (passwords must be reset every 120 days).

eRA Commons users experiencing issues logging in due to the expiration of their passwords will receive an error when attempting to log into Commons. Users should use the forgot password/unlock account link on the Commons home page to reset their password and delete the temporary internet files and cookies in their web browser.

Users may also contact to have their eRA Commons password reset. If users continue to experience problems after completing the above, please contact the eRA Service desk or call 866-504-9552.
