Effective July 1, the university is implementing a central pool for the payout of terminal level (see memo here). This central terminal leave payout pool will fund any unused vacation and bonus leave that is eligible for payout upon an employee’s separation from the University. The existing benefits rates will remain unchanged for Fiscal Year 2018. However, projecting future Fringe Benefits will include these charges.

The Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) has updated the Fiscal 2018 Annual Fringe Benefits Memorandum to include information on the Terminal Leave Payout that will go into effect on July 1, 2018. Additional information on fringe benefits is available on the OSR Information Sheet.
