Getting Started with Your Animal Research

Getting Started with Your Animal Research

As a first step, research administrators should direct Principal Investigators new to UNC or new to animal research to contact the Office of Animal Care and Use.  This alerts the OACU to the new PI and initiates the relationship between the PI and the IACUC.  The OACU will provide the PI with an informational packet that includes the information below.   Please click the link at the top of this page to access a printable checklist.
