What is the Clinical Research Navigation Hub?
The Clinical Research Navigation Hub (CRNH) is an internal concierge and guidance service within the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, whose mission is to improve clinical and human subjects research study initiation through centralized administrative support to UNC research teams.

Can CRNH complete my submissions?
CRNH functions as a guide, interlocuter, and educational resource for study teams navigating the complex world of clinical research. We can’t complete submissions for you, but we can provide advice on best practices and connect you with UNC Research’s top experts for assistance!
How do requests work?
After submitting your request via the Intake Form, CRNH will reach out to you within 1 business day. After learning more about your needs, we will engage the appropriate offices or services as needed to best complete your request. We also assist study teams directly with navigating clinical research processes and identifying best practices. After completing your request, we will continue to follow your study to provide additional support as needed.
What if I don’t have a specific request?
CRNH can monitor your study as it progresses through the necessary start-up milestones and intervene if we notice any slowdowns. If you’d like your study initiation to be monitored, submit a request via our Intake Form
