The Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) has made a revision to Operating Standard 500.12 – Consultants. The purpose of this operating standard is to ensure that independent contractors conduct their portions of research projects in compliance with applicable regulations and their expenses are reasonable and allowable.
- Executed agreement is no longer required between Dept and Consultant
- Consultant invoices no longer require Principal Investigator (P.I.) signature prior to submission for reimbursement
