Nicole Eggleston is a seasoned research administrator with over 17 years of experience supporting sponsored research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her current role as Budget Analyst, she provides strategic financial oversight and manages the full lifecycle of grants and cooperative agreements, working closely with faculty and institutional leadership to ensure compliance, accuracy, and fiscal responsibility.

Nicole’s career has spanned a range of progressively responsible roles—from administrative support to research administration and grants management—across complex domestic and international portfolios. She brings extensive expertise in budget development, proposal development, post-award management, sponsor relations, and regulatory compliance.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is committed to enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of higher education research through financial stewardship and collaboration.
