Research Compliance Committee

Strengthening research compliance culture at UNC through collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

About the Research Compliance Committee

The Research Compliance Committee (RCC) is UNC’s central hub for research compliance. It brings together faculty, staff, and administrators to promote research integrity, anticipate regulatory risks, and reduce administrative burden.

The RCC is organized into:

Membership Body – Research compliance leaders and professionals from across campus.

Link Subcommittees – Focused project teams working on specific areas: policy, learning, process improvement, and risk management.

Research Community – Campus-wide community of investigators, staff, and administrators who share responsibility for research compliance.

Steering Group – Strategic leadership and oversight, guiding the overall direction and priorities of the RCC.
