Core Facilities: Submitting a Project


Instructions & Submission Process


Complete the Project Proposal Form
– Provide a project title, description, expected outcomes, and skills to be gained.
– Indicate time commitment (4–8 hrs/week, up to 3 months) and any prerequisite skills.
– Identify a mentor/supervisor and onboarding plan.
Submit Online
– Upload the completed form through the Core Proposal Submission Portal.
Review
– Submission will be reviewed for alignment with the initiative goals
Posting of Opportunity
– Approved projects will be listed on the PULSE homepage and advertised to the postdoctoral community and their faculty mentors.
Applicant Review
– All applicants will be forwarded to core directors for review
– Core directors will interview interested postdocs to choose the most suitable candidate; you may choose whether or not to accept an applicant.
Finalize Agreement
– Once a postdoc and core facility are matched, all parties (Postdoc, Core Facility, Postdoc Faculty Mentor) will sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) outlining scope and expectations.
