The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is pleased to announce the release of the Subagreement Pre-Drafting Action & Response Certification (SPARC) on Friday, November 17. The SPARC replaces the Subagreement Initiation Portal (SIP) and is an online form designed to streamline the process for requesting subagreements actions and improve their timely execution. Once a SPARC form is generated, the assigned OSP Contracting Officer will send the link to the department for review and action. The SPARC also integrates with RAMSeS data and provides clear transparency and retention of subagreement requests.
More info and guidance for SPARC will be provided on November 17, when it is released.
Finalize SIP Submissions
Any pending SIP requests must be submitted by Thursday, November 16 to be accepted for processing. Beginning Friday, with the release of SPARC, all subagreement requests will need to be processed by SPARC.
