Leading UNC-Chapel Hill’s Export Compliance Office, Tatiana strives to apply her passion for higher education towards helping the members of the University community to safely navigate the intricate landscape of the export control and sanctions laws and regulations.
Tatiana holds nationally recognized certifications as an Export Compliance Professional (ECoP®) in the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. She has extensive experience in export/trade compliance and contract negotiation in higher education and the electronics industry, as well as project management and engineering design in the physical security and natural resources sectors.
