North Carolina Postdoc Research Symposium

The second annual North Carolina Postdoc Research Symposium will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center in Durham. This multidisciplinary event will spotlight the outstanding work of postdoctoral scholars from across the state, including participants from UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State, NC A&T, UNC Charlotte, East Carolina University, and UNC Wilmington.

This year’s symposium will feature a full day of activities designed to promote research exchange, networking, and professional development, including:

• Poster presentations and flash talks (with awards for top presenters)
• Career panels featuring professionals from academia, industry, and government
• A keynote address by a distinguished speaker
• Complimentary professional headshots (limited availability)
• A networking lunch with peers and mentors from across institutions

Registration is required, and the $25 fee covers lunch and all symposium activities. Early registration is strongly encouraged, as space is limited and expected to fill quickly.

Abstract submissions for poster and flash talk presentations are due by 11:59 PM on Sunday, May 11. Please note that slots are limited and presenters will be selected based on the quality and clarity of their abstracts.
