Emily Abshier

Emily has been a Research Administrator since 2019, joining the OVCR RASC team in 2022. She has experience in both pre- and post-award research administration. She currently assist with all aspects of the research administration life cycle from submitting proposals all the way through closeout of awarded projects, and everything in between. She enjoys the fast paced, ever-changing world of Research Administration where she is perpetually learning and growing her skill set. In her free time, Emily likes to hike, relax with her fur babies, and adventure around the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband.
