Provider & clinical staff input needed

Are you interested in providing feedback on how to integrate research within your clinical setting? NC TraCS is seeking input from physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, allied health professionals, and clinic administrators on challenges you face with research in your clinic, practice, or unit. Those who register and are available to attend a one-time, 1.5-hour virtual meeting will receive a $100 gift card. There will be a short presentation and an opportunity to discuss your needs and ideas about research in your clinic. Registration is limited. Office of Animal Care and Use offers new lecture on inspections

As part of its ongoing efforts to expand training and education opportunities, the Office of Animal Care and Use is now offering Inspections 101. Provided by Education and Oversight Coordinator Keisha Cawley via Zoom, this lecture will provide in-depth information on laboratory and facility inspections, including inspection types, checklists, typical findings, logs and documentation maintenance, deficiencies, and suggestions for a successful inspection. The lecture is available by request to everyone, especially new principal investigators, laboratory animal coordinators, and animal researchers. Laboratories with inspection deficiencies may be required by the Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee to enroll. For more information, contact Keisha Cawley at 919-843-1840.
