Duke Regulatory Affairs Training Program
Duke University’s School of Medicine is running a Regulatory Affairs Training Program that is open to UNC postdocs. The program runs for 6 weeks and consists of weekly 1-hour online lectures combined with independent study. This program provides an overview of premarket regulatory work related to drugs, biologics, and medical devices.

Postdoctoral Award for Research Excellence (PARE) Information Session
https://tinyurl.com/2mz5rkzk Each year, the Postdoctoral Awards for Research Excellence (PARE) are given in recognition of the research promise demonstrated by individual postdoctoral scholars at UNC Chapel Hill. The awards are open to postdoctoral scholars in all disciplines and are designed to assist postdoctoral scholars in their continued professional development. Each recipient receives a personal monetary award of $1,200.

Q&A with Corporate Scientist Matt Nelson – Networking Opportunity
Bondurant Hall G-010Matt Nelson is a geneticist and information scientist who has been working for the past 20 years in biotech, pharma, and most recently, at the health care investment firm, Deerfield Management. There will be a Q&A over lunch from 12:30-1:30 PM in Bondurant Hall G-010 on Friday April 28th for trainees to learn and ask questions about careers in genetics in the corporate sector.
