Duke University’s School of Medicine is running a Regulatory Affairs Training Program that is open to UNC postdocs. The program runs for 6 weeks and consists of weekly 1-hour online lectures combined with independent study. This program provides an overview of premarket regulatory work related to drugs, biologics, and medical devices.
Matt Nelson is a geneticist and information scientist who has been working for the past 20 years in biotech, pharma, and most recently, at the health care investment firm, Deerfield Management. There will be a Q&A over lunch from 12:30-1:30 PM in Bondurant Hall G-010 on Friday April 28th for trainees to learn and ask questions about careers in genetics in the corporate sector.
