PDA TruTalks

November 1, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Join us on September 6th from 6:30 to 7:30pm at TRU Deli in Chapel Hill (https://www.trudeli.com) to listen to a great talk and help support fellow UNC postdocs. Our presentations are open to the general public, so please help share this series with people in the local community! The Postdoctoral Association (PDA) is hosting a science talk series geared towards making research at UNC more digestible for a general audience. The first talk is scheduled for 6:30PM on September 6th. Dr. Aobo Li will explain his award-winning research during a 30-minute talk, followed by a Q&A session. No scientific knowledge is required – everyone is welcome!

TruTalks is a free series organized by postdocs to share the exciting research at UNC with the local community. These talks occur every two months on the first Tuesday and are delivered by engaging thought leaders across various fields of study.

The UNC Postdoc Association (PDA) is a volunteer peer lead organization dedicated to addressing the needs and concerns of all UNC postdocs. The officers, postdoc representatives, and chairs of the interest groups in PDA work closely with the professional staff in the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs to provide resources for professional development, generate awareness about problems common to all postdocs, and to foster a sense of community among postdoctoral scholars.
