The online platform called Bloom was developed by SOM’s Clinical Research Support Office and the NC TraCS Institute to assist research teams initiate clinical research studies.
The school’s first round of seed grants is designed to jump start collaborations around interdisciplinary research in data science. During the next academic year, awardees will contribute to the broader Carolina community by offering new shared resources and potentially shape a larger-scale project designed to attract extramural funding or lead to commercial translation.
