Postdoc Research Café | Viruses: Friend or Foe? How Viral Infections Shaped Human Pregnancy

The postdoc-led communication series continues in July with a talk on The Placenta, from Dr. Madeline Keenen. Dr. Keenen will discuss the surprising viral origins of the placenta, and why the relationship between the mother, the fetus, and the placenta is more complex than we might think.

PDA Research Café is a free series, organized by postdocs, to share the exciting research being carried out at UNC with the local community. All talks are delivered by engaging professionals who are leading experts in their fields of research.
