Change in Institutional Official

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research has new leadership, and Dr. Penny Gordon-Larsen, will serve as interim Vice Chancellor for Research. Continue


New Proposal Research Playbook Section

The Office of Sponsored Research has released the State Section for the Proposal Research Playbook. This section focuses on State sponsors and common topics for this proposal process. Continue


Updates to the Information Sheet

The updated expiration date for FWA is 03/18/2027, the Number of Employees and the RCR policy link have been updated on the Information Sheet.


New Resource: Research Core Development Team

The OVCR and OSR have partnered to offer a new resource and team to provide campus additional support for RSC management; the Research Core Development (RCD) Team. Continue


Reconciling & Processing Expenses Reminder

All expenses must be posted to the project within 60 days of the project end date or prior to the final report as required by the agreement. Continue


Ledger 4 Clinical Trial Guidance & Form

To facilitate monitoring and closeouts for Ledger 4 clinical trials, the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) has implemented guidance and a new form for Ledger 4 Clinical Trials. Continue

Effective April 5, OSR and ORIS have added a new personalization feature called "My Resources" to RAM Reports. Continue

New Uber Partnership for UNC-Chapel Hill Employees 

UNC-Chapel Hill has partnered with Uber to assist with work-related travel. By creating an in-app UNC-Chapel Hill profile, you will be able to set up a credit card specifically for UNC-Chapel Hill business travel. For more information, see the March 21 memo.
