Break the Mold: Connections Between 3D Printing and Vacuum Forming

Develop your 3D digital design skills and create vacuum-formed molds (not sure what vacuum forming is? Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR_zP60qIxs&t=3s) In this hands-on design and fabrication workshop, create 3D models in TinkerCAD and remotely print them. Then, use the vacuum former to create plastic molds of different 3D-printed objects and practice casting them in various materials.
Pre-requisites: This workshop includes the 3D Printer training for BeAM and will certify you to use the 3D Printers. Please bring a laptop or other device that you can access your free TinkerCAD account on.
