Committed to showcasing Carolina’s best work, Endeavors uses well-crafted stories and vibrant visuals to immerse readers in UNC’s inspiring research. Since its founding in 1984, the digital magazine covers a wide range of topics from nuclear physics to art history to political science — and researchers of all career levels.

On top of it’s monthly, long-form feature stories, Endeavors thrives off of three successful content series. “Time + Tenacity: The Formula for Breakthroughs in UNC Research” delves into the history behind research projects spanning 20-plus years. In contrast, “Foundations: Research to Fuel the Future” uncovers the importance of basic science and its far-reaching implications for future generations. Each week, the “Women in Science Wednesday” series highlights the unique perspective of one female researcher through a short Q&A.

For regular updates on the work produced by one of the leading research intuitions in the nation, sign up for the Endeavors newsletter, which releases the third Thursday of each month.
