Biography

Bree Williams has been with the Clinical Research Compliance Office as a Clinical Trials Quality Assurance Auditor since 2023. She brings over five years of specialized experience in pediatric clinical trials, working across a range of therapeutic areas including Cardiology, Hematology, Gastroenterology, and particularly Endocrinology. Bree began her clinical research career in pediatric research as a research coordinator at East Carolina University in 2018. She continued her work in the field by joining the Children’s Research Institute at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2021. Her commitment to improving health and educational outcomes for children is rooted in her early career experiences, including her work with AmeriCorps in afterschool programs creating STEM enrichment curriculum and volunteering with her mentor and school nurses in their KidsWell program, which is a school-based health program. She also has contributions to educational research data collection with Westat. Bree holds a degree in biology and public health education, which underpins her approach to both the scientific and community aspects of her work.
