Continuity of Operations in response to COVID-19

In alignment with the UNC System Office guidance on expanding teleworking and the University’s guidance to mitigate the risks of COVID-19, the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) will implement telework operations beginning Monday, March 16.

During this period, we want to assure our campus research community and partners that OSR is fully operational and committed to providing the service and support you need with sponsored programs administration. We expect you will find minimal impact to normal operations and OSR will continue to be responsive and supportive of your business needs.

Together, we can respond to the call for social distancing with continuity of operations by:

virtually meeting when possible
emailing documents over sending paper files, and
continuing communications by calling or emailing – OSR remains fully operational

We recognize there are situations where processing original documents remains necessary and OSR will continue to support these types of transactions.

All mail recieved in OSR continues to be monitored and processed within 1 business day. If you require a confirmation of receipt, please ensure recipient email(s) and instructions are included with your package.
