Should You Volunteer? Participating in medical research at UNC-Chapel Hill
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has developed a brochure titled "Should You Volunteer?" to educate the public about medical research in general, and help them decide if they might want to participate.
To request printed copies of the brochure, send an email to irb_training@unc.edu.
Include your mailing address, the number of copies needed, and whether you
want the English or Spanish version of the brochure. (UNC-Chapel Hill researchers
may also pick up copies of the brochure at the Biomedical IRB office or the
Office of Clinical Trials.)
You may also download a PDF version of the brochure (in English or Spanish) below.
Additional information on clinical trials, including links to sites providing information for volunteers, can be found at the Office of Clinical Trials website.
