Core Facilities at UNC-Chapel Hill

To share information about research resources available on campus, we have compiled the following list of shared core research facilities. These facilities generally fit the following criteria:

they are open to use throughout the university;
they operate on a first-come, first-served basis;
they have published, understandable, and equitable rates (if they charge at all); and
most have advisory boards.

This list does not include all campus research facilities, only those that meet the criteria for core facilities. Information regarding the use of core facilities may be obtained through the contact person or the web site of each facility.
