Pay attention to agency reports, strategic plans, and funding priorities, as these documents are helpful in predicting future proposals. Explanations of initiatives, performance standards accompanying budget requests, and information based on agency performance assessment and review tools can also be used when developing a grant proposal. Demonstrating awareness of these materials can help strengthen an application.
