URC Small Grant Program
The University Research Council (URC) offers research and publication grants for faculty to support their scientific, scholarly, or artistic work. These grants are meant to cover basic small-scale costs, but the council encourages the use of URC grants as stepping stones to extramural support. The maximum award is $5,000.
A faculty member may only submit one URC proposal, for either research or publication, each semester. Applicants must be full-time professional faculty members or librarians. Adjunct professors, lecturers, and instructors are not eligible for URC grants. You can find the application forms here. Please note that failure to follow the instructions may cause your application to be rejected. The deadline for the fall cycle is Monday, September 17.
