Driving Directions
We recommend that you discuss parking arrangements with OVC staff prior to your visit. Parking on campus may be very difficult.
Directions from the airport to the Swain visitor's parking lot: Take Interstate 40 West. Exit off I-40 at exit 273-A. Proceed into Chapel Hill on Highway 54. You will go under an overpass (Highway 15-501) and will then reach the top of a long hill. A large sign marking the boundary of the UNC campus will appear on your right. At a traffic light at the top of the hill, turn right onto Country Club Road, which will turn into Cameron Avenue. Proceed through one traffic light Continue until you see the sign for the Swain visitor's parking lot. Turn right into the lot.
South Building is located one block east of the Swain lot, directly across the street from the Old Well.
Bynum Hall is located one block east of the Swain lot in a traffic circle off of Cameron Avenue and has a large fountain in front.
