The Tar Heel Certificate Program is a series of workshops for staff members who support the sponsored research enterprise at UNC-CH. The workshops are designed to help individuals build competencies and increase knowledge in areas related to sponsored research with the overall goal of increasing efficiency and effectiveness of all those involved in the daily administration of sponsored research. The program is intended for administrative staff who currently perform or anticipate assuming duties and responsibilities related to the administration of research contracts and grants.
In November 2007, the program was enhanced to include a compentency test that enables participants to receive a Level 1 Certificate and qualifies the individual to proceed to Level II certificaiton in specialized functions such as proposal management, award management and award reporting.
Registration is now closed. When enrollment is being accepted, an announcement will be made on the RASG listserv. Go here to subscribe to the RASG listserv.
