The new NIH salary cap is 191,300 effective 1/1/2008.

The following updates were made on January 4, 2008:

The standard mileage rate has increased to 50.5 cents/mile for trips that began on or after January 1, 2008. The prior reimbursement rate for travel that began before January 1, 2008 was 48.5 cents/mile.
Facilities and Administration Cost Rates (F&A) information was updated to reflect the current Federal F&A Cost Rate Agreement dated 11/6/2007 (PDF).

The following updates were made on August 28, 2007:

The FY2008 Fringe Benefit section was updated to reflect a new premium ($357.75/month) for Full-time Permanent EPA/SPA Employees (Object Code 1832) effective on July 1, 2007.

The following updates were made on June 20, 2007:

The FY2008 Fringe Benefit section was updated to reflect a new premium ($214.25/month) for Post Doctoral Student Health Insurance (Object Codes 4518, 1831) will go into effect on July 1, 2007.
The FY2007 Fringe Benefit section was updated to reflect a new premium ($149.17/month) for Graduate Student Health Insurance (Object Codes 1836, 6596) will go into effect on August 15, 2007.

The following update was made on March 3, 2007:

UNC-Chapel Hill has submitted its annual report on research misconduct to the DHHS Office of Research Integrity for 2006. The new annual report date (required on some application forms) is February 28, 2007.

The following update was made on April 18, 2005:

A new line was added under the Miscellaneous Information for Sponsored Research section titled "Student/Fellowship/PostDoctoral link". The associated web page will provide a central location for Memos and other pertinent information for the Research community at UNC-CH. At the same time, the links to the "Graduate School" and the "Graduate School Tuition and Fees" were moved to the new page.
